Conditions  

Building permits issued shall become invalid unless the work authorized by this permit is commenced within 180 days after its issuance, or if the work authorized by this permit is suspended or abandoned for a period of 180 days after the time the work is commenced.  (view notes)

This permit may be suspended or revoked wherever the permit is issued in error or on the basis of incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information, or in violation of any ordinance or regulation of adopted Will County codes and ordinances.  (view notes)  
The building permit or copy thereof shall be kept on the site of the work conspicuously posted and visible from the public right-of-way.  (view notes)  
It shall be the duty of the permit applicant, owner, or contractor to schedule all required inspections.  (view notes)  
Inspections shall be requested 48-hours in advance. Consideration may be given for inspections with notice less than 48 hours in advance. Work shall remain accessible and exposed for inspection purposes. Ladders and temporary stairs shall be provided when necessary. The County of Will shall not be liable for expenses entailed in the removal or replacement of any material required to allow for inspection.  (view notes)  
Approved plans bearing the plan review approval stamp shall be kept on site and be available to inspectors performing inspections.  (view notes)  
Failed inspections shall be subject to re-inspection fees in accordance with Chapter 158 of the Will County Code of Ordinances.  (view notes)
